Teachers, do you have a student who is struggling?
We work closely with schools to address mental health issues, overturn misconceptions and find real solutions.
Teaching is already demanding – you don’t need to be a mental health expert too!

We seek to partner with schools to address behavioral and emotional needs so educators can focus on shaping minds while we safeguard well- being.
At AB Psych, we believe in collaborative care.

We can come along side schools to bridge the gap between education and mental health, because when we work together, students thrive.

Dr Anthony Benigno and his extensive team of psychologists, child and family therapists offer innovative solutions for learning environments.
Let’s partner to create a learning environment where every student can succeed.

“When a student is struggling, it’s never just about the grades or behavior, it’s about understanding the whole child. In education, our role is to provide teachers with clear answers, practical strategies and the confidence they’re not alone in supporting their students. Together, we can help every learner find their path to success.”
How AB Psych helps schools
We can partner with schools to identify student needs early, provide practical solutions and bridge the gap between home and classroom. Our approach is collaborative, evidence-based and designed to help every learner succeed. This includes students on an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan.
Specialized assessments
We provide comprehensive evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning differences, anxiety, depression and other challenges. Using our custom assessment software, we produce clear, accurate reports fast, giving educators and IEP teams the data they need to make informed decisions.
Collaboration with educators
Our team works directly with teachers, counselors and administrators to share evaluation insights, contribute to IEP and 504 plan discussions and develop practical strategies to facilitate easier learning, improve behavior and strengthen students’ emotional well-being.
Behavior and emotional regulation support
We can equip school staff with tools and strategies to help students manage big feelings, build resilience and reduce classroom disruptions, creating a calmer, more productive learning environment. To accomplish this, we can draw from both our evaluations and on-site behavioral observations.
Family-school connection
We can help parents and educators work together by aligning home and school strategies ensuring IEP and 504 considerations are supported consistently. This will build trust and empower parents to reinforce skills outside the classroom.
Professional development for staff
We aim to provide training sessions, workshops and create resources to help educators recognize early signs of developmental and emotional challenges and understand how evaluation results and behavioral observations can guide classroom strategies.
Community and resource building
AB Psych aims to partner with local schools, regional centers and community organizations. We are looking towards providing educational books for children, podcasts and other resources designed for educators and families.

What to expect for each student
Our process for schools
We work with children across a wide range of developmental and emotional needs. Many conditions can present with overlapping symptoms, so the right diagnosis is the first step toward effective support.
These steps provide faster answers, targeted strategies and a stronger home-school partnership to help every student succeed.
AB Psych Free Pre-Assessment Questionnaire
If you’re concerned about a student’s behavior and don’t know where to start our AB Psych Free Pre-Assessment Questionnaire is an easy first step.
This covers 16 questions to help quickly establish whether your concerns about a student match conditions like ADHD, autism or emotional difficulties. This will help you get the support a student needs sooner and avoid the frustration of misdiagnosis.
